Découvrez le travail contemporain de Pascale Margail
Native from Haute Savoie, Pascale Margail works in the diplomatic sector.
A very dynamic life, which in 2013 will come to meet painting. The artist then evokes the need to exteriorize, to bring emotions to the surface. Sometimes inhibited, driven under the influence of a social and active life, these emotions now have the privilege of becoming works of art. And Pascale to give herself time for reflection, putting on the painter's blouse for the benefit of her inner self.
Each work is the reflection of the artist, a part of her inner self. Like the imprint of a feeling that, at the time, remained buried only to reappear later, in materials and colours. From a life that runs, outside, to the refuge of the studio, this emotion is reserved and finally explodes on the canvas, thanks to the pigment.
Pascale's painting is therefore that of colour above all. The work of form is more that of a composition of shades and nuances, of a dialogue. If form is usually what gives meaning to the work, and colours the atmosphere, here the two mingle to become feeling.
The pure figurative disappears, the narration opens. There is no longer the authority of a single sense of reading, to which the viewer would have to submit. On the contrary, this radicalism wants to invite any observer to become an actor, to conceive the work according to his own sensitivity. Rather than a story, Pascale Margail wants to deliver a message.
Today listed Akoun, her paintings are selected and published in 2016 in the "First Berliner Art Book", and in 2017 in the Parisian magazine "C de l'Art"
